SR-THINNER is a new generation mud conditioner developed from the liquid polymeric deflocculant for fresh and saltwater muds, especially at elevated temperatures of 450 ‘F and above. The primary application is in fresh and brackish water muds of low to intermediate density. A special feature of SR-THINNER is its excellent tolerance of salt, calcium and other contaminants. In environmentally sensitive areas, SR-THINNER simplifies wastewater treatment and reduces compliance costs because it is essentially non polluting in the low concentration. The product does not contain chromium or other metal salts. further, it is free sulphite origin products common in conventional mud thinners and deflocculant.

SR-THINNER drilling fluid retains a light colour and has water clear filtrate. This simplifies mud filtrate analysis. Reserve pits stay clear and clean. It is effective in the concentration of 0.2 to 2.5 ppm depending upon the degree of deflocculation, high-temperature stability and fluid loss control required. In general, heavyweight muds will require a higher concentration than unweighted muds. It is 7 times as effective as chrome lignosulphonate, that is, one pound of SR-THINNER replaces up to 7pounds of lignosulphonates.

Resinex lignite is formed by the reaction of sulfonated lignite and the water-soluble resin. It is resin lignite will reduce high-temperature fluid loss and stabilize the muds at downhole stability. SR-RXL filtration agent should be used at the concentration of 2 to 6 lb/bbl for fluid loss control.to achieve optimum solubility the pH should be adjusted above 9.5. SR-ASPHALTIC is a high molecular weight hydrocarbon compound of a sodium salt of sulphonate asphalt. It is black free-flowing flake material. SR-ASPHALTIC is soluble in water, the water-insoluble portion is soluble in oil. This property gives sulphonate asphalt an excellent emulsifying characteristic. It is also highly resistant to temperature.

The following concentration of Sulphonated asphalt are recommended:

Lower solids drilling fluids based on polymer Viscosifiers have been successfully used for many years, and their effectiveness in increasing drilling rates are well documented. SR-MOLDSIN effectively reduces the API filtration rate of many water-based oil and gas drilling fluids and may also be used to increase and stabilize the viscosity to improve hole cleaning and suspension properties in a wide variety of fluid environments. Because it is effective at low concentrations, It’s regular provides a cost-effective mean of improving drilling fluid performance. In many drilling operations XC polymer, are normally used to viscosity drilling fluids applied for drilling section between 500/1000 m – 2500/3000m. However, expensive XC polymers are not required, as long as drilling is not carried out in horizontal holes or in pay zones where thixotropic drilling fluids are preferred.

To prove cost-effectiveness of Viscosifier Cum Fluid, It should be noted that when applying XC polymer, also fluid loss agent is required. In the case of Viscosifier Cum Fluid, this is not needed as the product has built-in fluid loss control properties.

Lignite Powder is a naturally occurring material used to reduce fluid loss and deflocculates water base mud. Lignite Powder is a partially soluble additive which provides thin, low permeability filter cakes. It is an excellent emulsifier for oil in water emulsions as wells a secondary deflocculated and is especially effective in high-temperature applications. It performs exceptionally well in a dispersed system as a synergistic additive with lingo sulphonates. It can be used in virtually any water base fluid. Lignite Powder may be used for rheology and filtration control in all water-based muds. It is especially effective at stabilizing the properties of muds exposed to high temperature and contamination such as CO2 and calcium. Lignite Powder is especially effective when treating cement contamination. It reduces the high viscosity and pH of cement contamination muds and reacts with calcium to lessen the contaminating effects. Normal treatment of Lignite Powder range from 2.87 to 22.7 kg/m³.Due to their low pH, it’s treatment require additional caustic soda or an alternative alkaline material to maintain a consistent pH. A normal ratio is 1 sack of caustic soda for every 4 Sachs of SR-LIG. In high salinity systems. it is preferable to premix the Lignite Powder in Medium pH fresh water to enhance dispersibility then add the premix to the active system. It is most effective in mud systems with an alkaline pH in the range of 8 to 10.

Chrome Lignite is highly soluble and is stable at high temperature. It exhibits tolerance for soluble contaminants. It was more temperature-stable than plain lignite in clay-based water muds. The recommended treatment of Chrome lignite as a deflocculate and as an emulsifier is 1.0 to 3.0 ppb and as a filtration control agent: 2.0 to 8.0 ppb.

SR-TORQUE REDUCER is a proprietary blend of natural oils and surfactants in a non-toxic base. The product is a free-flowing liquid, and is biodegradable, non-toxic, and does not fluoresce. SR-TORQUE REDUCER should be used in water base muds whenever torque, drainage or excessive bit gauge wear are encountered. This product can be used in all water base mud systems, is calcium tolerant and exhibition additional properties such as emulsification and wetting. SR-TORQUE REDUCER will not affect the performance or characteristics of the drilling fluid system being used in addition this excellent product will not provide a sheen on water because it contains no aromatics. This in-fluorescing characteristic is very important because it means that SR-TORQUE REDUCER will not adversely downhole good logging operations. SR-TORQUE REDUCER is stable at high temperature.
