Instruction For Use:

Surface for treatments must be thoroughly cleaned of all laitance, loose material, oils, grease, etc. Mechanical means such as wire brushing, shot blasting can be used and finally vacuum cleaned of all loose solids and liquids.

Before application ensure that the surface is damp but in a touch dry condition.

Once the floor is covered, do not rinse the solution away.

Curing : 3 to 5 days with a wet hessian or jute cloth, or water spray.

• Once the floor is covered, do not rinse the solution away.

SR-Plasticizer is a new type of polymeric superplasticizer which has a high water reducing rate. As the third generation of water reducers, it is very effective in producing concretes with different levels of workability including applications that require the use of self-consolidating concrete (SCC). It complies with ASTM C 494 requirements for Type F, high-range water-reducing admixtures. It is known as high range water reducing admixture, are chemical admixtures used where well-dispersed particle suspension is required. Allow the surface to dry completely and remove any marks with putty blade & then rub the surface gently with very fine emery paper before application of paint.
• Mix the putty thoroughly to get the best results and prepare only that much quantity which can be consumed in 1 hour. In case of new surface apply 1 or 2 coats of white cement wash prior to application of putty to get the best results.

Surface Preparation:

New cementitious surfaces must be well cure for at least 6–8 weeks before coating.All surfaces must

be clean, dry and free of loose materials, oil grease, etc. Any previous growth of fungus & algae

must be entirely removed by wire brushing and cleaning with water. All cracks should be treated appropriately.

Application Procedure:

Do not dilute with water.

The surface must be well saturated with water before application of first coat

Do not cure with water after applying first coat.

Allow 1st coat to dry completely for 6 – 8 hrs before applying 2nd coat. This will act as key

coat for the subsequent plaster coat. While plastering apply a dash coat, cure well and then

finish with two coats of plaster.

Coverage:

Apply slurry coat of mixed material for two coats at a coverage rate of 1.5 kg/m2 over the set Concrete slab by a masonry brush or appropriate power spray equipment.

Coverage may vary depending upon the texture and porosity of the surface

LW Liquid is a low molecular weight solution manufacturing through spray dryer technology. It can react with cement containing active groups such as double bonds or hydroxyl group. Ligmex-80 is a new generation, 100% reactive, waterborne silane-siloxane sealer. This clear, penetrating, breathable water repellent is ideal for use on interior and exterior, above grade, traffic bearing concrete. Ligmex-80penetrates concrete surfaces and chemically bonds directly with the substrate which results in a surface that is highly resistant to the attacks of both moisture and salt. Ligmex-80 offers positive salt screening in northern, southern climates. Ligmex-80's non-flammable, non-volatile formula minimizes corrosion of reinforcing steel and protects concrete from the damaging effects of deicer chemicals, road salts, and other chemicals.

Ligmex-80's successful field and lab performance make it ideal for walkways, stairs, outside malls, building entrances, parking decks, garages, driveways, piers, bus and truck terminals, precast and priestess concrete. Other uses include architectural concrete, concrete and brick paver, and exposed aggregate surfaces.Ligmex-80 is an anion surface active polymer based liquid super plasticizer with strong dispersion effect, effective water reduction and low air-entrainment for the production of high-strength concrete with improved workability. The super plasticizer allows the preparation of highly-flow able high slump concrete with the same water/cement ratio of low slump control concrete with no additive. It improves the compressive strength of the hardened concrete.

HTPB 95 can be used either to increase the rate of stiffening/setting of the concrete or to increase the rate of hardening and early strength gain to allow earlier demoulding and handling. Most accelerators primarily achieve one rather than both of these functions. Accelerators are most effective at low temperature. It is a prime use of set accelerators is in the control of the setting time of concrete floor slabs in cold weather when an extension of set delays finishing and power towelling operations. Set accelerators are a very effective way of controlling the setting time of such concretes, even those containing cement replacements. 

Accelerators are also used to reduce the risk of damage by freezing when concreting in cold weather and to allow the earlier removal of formwork. The exposed faces of struck concrete must still be protected and properly cured. At normal temperatures, a technically better way of enhancing early strength is to use a high range water reducer/superplasticizer. A large reduction (greater than 15%) in the water-cement ratio can more than double compressive strength at ages less than 24 hours. Accelerators can be used in conjunction with superplasticizers where very early age strength is required, especially at lower temperatures. Other applications where accelerating admixtures are used are in urgent concrete repairs and in sea defence work, to ensure early stiffening of concrete in the tidal zone.

Accelerating admixtures increase the rate of hydration of tricalcium silicate (C3S) and tricalcium aluminates (C3A) phases of the cement, thereby providing earlier heat evolution and strength development. It should be noted that accelerators do not depress the freezing point of water significantly and should not be referred to as anti-freeze admixtures. The accelerating effect of both set and strength accelerating admixtures is most pronounced at lower temperatures of the order to 5-10oC. Liquid admixtures are generally considered easier to dispense accurately and are more readily dispersible evenly through the mix. 

Accelerating admixtures can be used with all types of Portland cement including those covered by EN 197-1 and with other binders blended with CEM 1 cement at the mixer. It can achieve 1-day strength gains of up to 100% higher than the equivalent plain concrete mix. However, the cost of achieving this with a chloride-free accelerator The setting time of concrete containing an accelerator will be shorter than that of the equivalent plain concrete containing no accelerator. The acceleration is typically 1 to 2 hours for a set accelerator but less than one hour for hardening accelerators. This will be affected by accelerator type, dose and ambient temperature. It is stipulated that for set accelerators, a mix containing the admixture must have an initial setting time at 5°C of 60% or less than that of a mix without the accelerator. It has the ability to break down the natural passivity of steel provided by the alkalinity of concrete and thereby encourages the corrosion of reinforcement or other embedded steel. The corrosive influence of calcium chloride and its ability to increase shrinkage make it a potential hazard to long-term durability in reinforced concrete and its use should be avoided for this application. 

Accelerators increase the rate of heat release and may, therefore, give a greater temperature rise than the equivalent plain concrete mix. The total heat of hydration is unaffected. Accelerating admixtures do not normally have an adverse effect on bleeding. The bleeding capacity of most concretes is related to setting time. Cold weather will prolong setting of concretes and so exacerbate the potential for concretes to bleed. Hence, accelerators may reduce bleeding purely as a result of reduced concrete setting time.
